A year ago, we launched a new project, the Give1Project Digital Skills Academy, with the aim of giving young people the tools to be ready in this ever-changing digital world.
We are working on three major programs:
- Training of young people in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, computer science, robotics and other digital skills at the academy.
- Training children in coding at the digital academy.
- National digital initiation campaign for elementary school students in Senegal. The objective is 1,000,000 children initiated by 2025.
All Give1Project Digital Skills Academy students benefit from a scholarship. Access to training in the academy is free for them. They are all housed and fed at the academy during their stay. The trainings cover topics such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, computer science, robotics and other skills to help young Africans adapt to technology.
Demand is high, which is why we are expanding the academy to create more places for more students. This is why Give1Project needs your help and support to give more opportunities to young people in disadvantaged communities.
